O que é Slide

Chama-se slide-guitar a técnica baseada num tipo diferente de guitarra sem trastes normalmente chamada de guitarra havaiana. Ao invés de apertar as cordas nos trastes para definir cada nota, se encosta uma peça de metal ou vidro ou plástico (geralmente um tubo enfiado em um dos dedos) na posição relativa ao traste (mas importante, sem fazer encostar a corda no traste). Variando a posição do tubo enquanto se fere as notas ocorre o efeito conhecido como slide sem que se perceba a mudança de notas definida entre os trastes (a variação do tom é contínua e não se sente a mudança de trastes visto que os mesmos não estão sendo usados).

___Called the slide-guitar based on a different kind of fretless guitar technique commonly called Hawaiian guitar. Instead of tightening the strings on frets to define each note, leans against a piece of metal or glass or plastic (usually a tube stuck in a finger) into position on the fret (but importantly, without touching the rope fret) . Varying the position of the tube as it hurts the notes is the effect known as slide without anyone noticing the change of notes between the frets set (the variation of tone is continuous and does not feel the change of frets whereas the same is not being used).
